What should be resolved before drapery fabrication begins?
The heading, fullness, finished dimensions, lining, hardware, returns, stack, and mounting conditions should be reviewed together. FDO helps clarify these details against the designer’s intended proportions, privacy needs, and finished appearance before fabrication.
Can you coordinate decorative drapery with functional shades?
Yes. We can review drapery alongside shades and other hard treatments as a coordinated window package. The review considers light control, privacy, hardware, clearances, and installation conditions. Where motorization is needed, power and controls are included in the planning conversation.
How do you handle pattern matching and finishing?
Pattern repeats, seam placement, heading alignment, trims, and finishing details are reviewed against the approved specification before the treatment leaves our workroom. Share particular pattern-placement priorities with the design direction so they can be considered from the start.
Can remaining drapery fabric be used for pillows or lampshades?
Potentially. Suitable remaining fabric can be considered for custom pillows or custom lampshades, subject to usable quantity, condition, pattern repeat, and the intended piece. Include these items in the original scope where possible so the room’s textiles can be planned together.
