Motorized Shades

Motorized shades that look refined and operate cleanly.

We help designers and project teams coordinate fabric, power, controls, hardware, brackets, pockets, fascia, and installation details before the site conditions become a problem.
Service details

Execution details designers can rely on.

01

Battery and hardwired planning

Recommendations based on construction stage, access, wiring, and user experience.
02

Smart home coordination

Support for builders, electricians, integrators, and designers.
03

Quiet premium experience

Motorization should disappear into the architecture.
04

Lutron as an option

We offer Lutron as a motorization option when it fits the specification.
Motorized shade planning

Motorization needs to be planned before the room is finished.

Motorized shades affect wiring, pockets, fascia, brackets, controls, fabric choice, privacy, light control, and installation access. FDO helps designers and project teams evaluate those details while there is still time to make clean decisions.

Plan functional shades alongside custom drapery, or review compatible motorization for custom Roman shades and drapery tracks. Fabric, treatment construction, power, and control requirements are confirmed for the selected system. Discuss Your Window Package before finalizing the scope.

For projects in Vero Beach, Palm Beach, West Palm Beach, Jupiter, and Stuart, we coordinate with designers, builders, electricians, and integrators across Lutron shading systems and other appropriate motorization options.

01

Prewire and opening review

Mounting conditions, pockets, fascia, brackets, power approach, control intent, and installation access are reviewed before construction decisions become difficult to change.
02

Shade and finish coordination

FDO coordinates treatment type, fabric, hardware, brackets, controls, and the intended architectural presentation across Lutron and other appropriate motorization options.
03

Installation and integration

FDO can measure and install directly or coordinate the approved scope. Electrical and low-voltage requirements are coordinated with electricians, and control integration is coordinated with the project team.
04

Responsibility clarity

Shade scope, electrical requirements, controls, integration, and installation responsibilities are clarified before fabrication.
