Trade-only terms for custom workroom projects.

01

Payment

Payment terms and method are agreed upon by For Designers Only and the purchaser before work begins.
02

Shipping

Shipment or delivery of products manufactured by For Designers Only is agreed upon by For Designers Only and the purchaser before work begins.
03

Returns and refunds

Products manufactured by For Designers Only that are deemed unsatisfactory by the purchaser are subject to FDO’s review. Refunds, if applicable, depend on that review. Visible damage or apparent discrepancies must be reported within seven days of receipt. Concerns not reasonably discoverable on receipt should be reported promptly after discovery. This reporting period does not limit applicable warranty or statutory rights.

04

Schedule and lead time

Quoted lead times begin upon receipt of material and/or payment unless otherwise noted in writing.
05

Designer-supplied fabric and materials

Material supplied by the purchaser must be fit for use and sized to dimensions specified by For Designers Only.
06

Specified hardware and materials

For hardware or materials specified by the purchaser, responsibility for fit, compatibility, and performance is determined by the accepted project scope. FDO is not responsible for issues caused by purchaser specifications outside FDO’s agreed review scope. FDO remains responsible for advice and work included in its contracted scope.

07

Measurements and installation by others

Measurement and installation responsibilities are defined in the accepted project scope. When measurement is excluded, the purchaser must supply accurate final dimensions and relevant site information. FDO’s review of drawings or specifications is not field verification unless agreed in writing. When installation is excluded, the purchaser arranges installation and confirms site readiness and suitable mounting conditions. Installation FDO provides or arranges remains governed by the accepted scope.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, FDO is not responsible for fit issues, damage, delays, or additional costs caused by inaccurate information supplied by others or installation outside its contracted scope. FDO remains responsible for its own fabrication errors and contracted work.

These website terms are provided for general reference. Final project terms, payment schedules, lead times, warranty details, installation responsibilities, and delivery expectations are confirmed through direct trade communication for each approved scope of work.
